The all-new, re-imagined Cheney Aquatic Center incorporates programs and amenities preferred by the community and is planned to become an integral part of the park system. It includes a state-of-the-art and sustainable aquatics amenity, a beautiful green space, walking trails, sport courts, and an indoor community center for all to enjoy.

The City of Cheney has partnered with the Spokane Parks Foundation to raise additional philanthropic funds to support this project. Donations and sponsorships will raise funds for future projects and accessible programs, thereby ensuring an affordable recreational opportunity for all Cheney and West Plains residents.

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES
AQUATICS FACILITY:
Donor will have an opportunity to name the new Cheney Aquatics Facility. Cheney City Council will consider a philanthropic donation for the useful life of the facility or a 10-year sponsorship of the facility. The Cheney aquatics facility will be a major community gathering space for generations of families, friends and visitors. Approximately 73,000 VISITORS from throughout the West Plains area are expected to visit each summer.
In addition, the indoor Community Room will be open year-round. This will serve as an additional gathering space for community meetings and events, bringing additional visitors to the facility throughout the year. DONOR NAME WILL APPEAR ON BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURAL SIGNAGE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE FACILITY, on wayfinding signage, and in all publicity and materials referencing the aquatics facility. DONOR WILL RECEIVE ADDITIONAL BENEFITS, INCLUDING MUTUALLY AGREED UPON EXCLUSIVE SPONSORSHIP AND/OR PROGRAMMING OPPORTUNITIES.
COMMUNITY ROOM: $125,000
Donor will have an opportunity to name the Community Room within the main aquatics’ facility building. This 500 square foot room, open year-round to residents and visitors, will be a key community gathering space for years to come. DONOR NAME WILL APPEAR ON SIGNAGE AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE ROOM and in all future publicity and materials referencing the community room.
CHENEY AQUATICS FACILITY WATER SLIDE: $100,000
Donor name will be featured on a sign on or at the base of this incredible amenity, which is sure to be a highlight for all those visiting the facility. DONOR NAME WILL ALSO APPEAR IN ALL FUTURE PUBLICITY AND MATERIALS REFERENCING THE WATER SLIDE AMENITY.
CHENEY AQUATICS FACILITY MINI NINJA AMENITY: $75,000
DONOR NAME WILL BE FEATURED ON A SIGN AT THE BASE OF THIS AMENITY. This key feature will provide a unique and challenging aquatic experience for all ages and abilities. Donor name will also appear in all future publicity and materials referencing the mini ninja amenity.
Shade Structures: $50,000
Donor names will be featured on shade umbrellas and picnic shelters within the aquatics facility.
